Profile:
Mr. Barnes is Of Counsel to the Firm. He concentrates his practice in commercial and real estate litigation matters, including: representation of landlords in commercial landlord-tenant disputes, rent collection actions and forcible entry and detainer lawsuits; pursuing creditors’ rights in bankruptcy; and advancing the rights of litigants in a wide variety of other commercial and real estate disputes. Mr. Barnes also has significant experience in debt collection and enforcing judgments through involuntary collection procedures, including garnishments, property seizures and attachments.
Mr. Barnes has been a lecturer at seminars on the topics of Commercial Litigation, Bankruptcy Litigation, Debt Collection and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
